BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, the securities servicing, has received a ‘Leader in Innovation’ award for Securities Services Provider-North America from Financial-i magazine.
Financial-i’s fourth annual Leaders in Innovation Awards spans more than 60 categories in global transaction banking. Awards are presented to banks and financial hardware and software vendors that in the last 12 months have excelled in terms of innovation in business solutions in the major categories of: payments & foreign exchange, securities services, data management, risk management, and network services. Award winners were chosen based on research conducted by Financial i’s team of journalists and independent analysts, and then passed to an advisory panel comprising analysts, consultants and market practitioners.
“This award is especially meaningful in that innovation is at the heart of our strategy for growth in 2010 and beyond,” says Dan Wywoda, head of global product management for BNY Mellon Asset Servicing. “Foreseeing and developing the new products clients need to thrive in today’s fluid environment is a cornerstone of our efforts – be they highly specialized reporting services, or large integrated offerings like our Derivatives360 solution that bring together functionality from across BNY Mellon.”
“Now more than ever, firms are looking for solutions that provide a much quicker return on investment and do what they actually say,” says Anita Hawser, managing editor of Financial-i. “In selecting the winners in each category we have tried to focus on those companies we believe have that little something extra that makes their solutions stand out from their competitors in terms of depth and breadth of functionality, ease of implementation and support, and solutions that actually address real business needs.”
