The Bank of New York Mellon announced that Leo P. Grohowski is joining the organisation as chief investment officer for BNY Mellon Wealth Management.

In this role, Grohowski will lead all investment strategy and investment management functions for the wealth management organisation. He will be based in New York City and report to David Lamere, vice chairman for the corporation and chief executive officer of BNY Mellon Wealth Management.

Grohowski joins BNY Mellon Wealth Management from US Trust, Bank of America, where he was chief investment officer.

Previous to his role at US Trust, Bank of America, Grohowski held chief investment officer positions at US Trust and Deutsche Asset Management Americas/Scudder Investments, among other executive leadership positions in asset management.
