BNP snaps up State Street MD for UKMEA

Patrick Hayes will take responsibility for BNP Paribas’ operations in the UKMEA regions

BNP Paribas Securities Services has confirmed the appointment of Patrick Hayes as its new head of the UK, Middle East and Africa.

Hayes, who will take over the role from the retiring James McAleenan, will lead BNP’s teams in the three regions and will be responsible for helping the bank achieve its growth targets.

Prior to his new role Hayes served in a number of positions at State Street where he was most recently managing director of international fund services Europe.

He also served as head of global fund services relationship management UK at Northern Trust.
