BNP Paribas Securities Services was selected to oversee eDreams ODIGEO’s initial public offering (IPO) on the Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia stock markets.
The IPO took placed on April 8, 2014.
Responsible for the IPO’s structuring and centralisation, BNP Paribas Securities Services handled the structuring, management and administration services surrounding the issuance of new eDreams ODIGEO securities. It additionally managed the post-operation services, including the eDreams ODIGEO’s securities and financial services, and the circulation of securities between Luxembourg – where the company is registered – and the Spanish Market.
eDreams ODIGEO’s Chief Financial Officer, David Elizaga, says, “We chose BNP Paribas Securities Services for its ability to provide us with a service in different markets from a single entry point within the bank. eDreams ODIGEO holdings include five brands – eDreams, Go Voyages, Opodo, Travellink and Liligo. The company is the largest online travel agency in Europe, and the most profitable European e-commerce company, with more than 14 million customers and a presence in 42 countries.
