BNP Paribas strengthens UK and Middle East sales team with senior hires

BNP Paribas Securities Services has made four senior appointments to the sales team covering asset manager and alternative investment clients.

BNP Paribas Securities Services has boosted its London-based sales team with four senior appointments to cover the UK and Middle East market.

Valeria Anderson joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) as a senior sales director for its asset managers segment. At BAML she was a director of custody and agency services, building solutions for alternative and traditional asset managers.

Joining Anderson is Omar Arti who will operate as a sales and relationship manager for the Middle East, Barry Kelly a new business development manager for asset manager clients, and Colm O’Brien who joins as another senior sales director for alternative investors.

Arti joins from Astinal Consulting where he advised on business development strategy. He also spent over 18 years JP Morgan where he held a number of senior custody operations, client services and relationship management roles.

O’Brien previously served as a director of fund services at SS&C Technologies, while Kelly joins from outsourced corporate services provider Centralis Group.
