BNP Paribas Securities Services has won a mandate from the Caisse de Retraite des Snateurs de Belgique (Belgian Senators pension fund) to provide clearing, custody and reporting services in Belgium.

The Caisse de Retraite was set up in 1937 to provide Belgiums senators with a pension upon retirement.

BNP Paribas Securities Services secured the prestigious contract working closely with BNP Paribas Fortis Public Banking, another entity of the BNP Paribas Group.

“Were delighted that the Belgian Senators pension fund has entrusted its mandate to us, Renaud Vandenplas, head of Belgium for BNP Paribas Securities Services, says. This package is one of our leading products, and it gives me great satisfaction to see it being increasingly appreciated on the market.”

The development strongly reaffirms BNP Paribas Securities Services Belgiums reputation vis–vis institutional investors, a rapidly growing client segment in the country.
