BNP Paribas Securities Services appoints senior hire in Europe

BNP Paribas Securities Services (BNP Paribas) has announced the appointment of Eric Pouwels as head of client development in the Netherlands, as the bank continues to expand its footprint in the Benelux region.

Based in Amsterdam, Pouwels will lead the banks business development activities in the Netherlands, reporting into Gerald Noltsch, head of Germany, Northern Europe, CEE & CIS, as part of its strategy to align its key markets for asset owners in Europe.

Pouwels joins BNP Paribas from Northern Trust following a distinguished six year period there, latterly as director of strategic development for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
