BNP Paribas Securities Services has made two promotions within its UK client delivery team in the latest change to its senior European leadership.

Mark Daisley has been promoted to head of client delivery for UK, Middle East and Channel Islands, while Alexandra Derrien has been appointed head of IT and engineering for the same region.

Daisley will be responsible for all operational and change teams within client delivery, having led the custodian’s UK operations for nearly five years. He was also chief operating officer for its Channel Islands business for four years, and also led several fund administration and investment operations teams.

Derrien had led several change and transformation projects for BNP Paribas Securities Services since joining in 2013.

“Both Mark and Alexandra will play an integral to our ambitions to build upon our service culture and ensure the sustainable growth of the business,” said Simon Olenka, regional head of UK and Middle East, BNP Paribas Securities Services.

The appointments are the latest senior changes to the custodian’s UK team. Olenka replaced Patrick Hayes in April, after Hayes was promoted to global head of alternative investors. Last month, the bank also named Andrea Cattaneo as its new head of Italy, Switzerland and IberiaAndorra, Portugal and Spain.

However, the bank has seen two high-profile members depart over the past month. Davina Goodell-Smith, its former head of relationship management for asset managers and owners in the UK, left to join Nikko Asset Management as its new EMEA COO. In addition, Jean Devambez, its former global head of digital and acceleration, has left after leading many of its FinTech collaborations.
