BNP Paribas Securities Services Hires Alex Pashley And Ian Hames To Corporate Trust Group

BNP Paribas Securities Services has appointed Alex Pashley and Ian Hames to its UK Corporate Trust team. Starting in mid-November, both Pashley and Hames will be based in London and report directly to Gary Webb, Head of Global Corporate Trust in the UK.

Alex Pashley joins BNP Paribas Securities Services from JP Morgan, where he was a Vice President within Institutional Trust Services. At Morgan his focus was on CDO activities.

Ian Hames joins BNP Paribas Securities Services from HSBC Bank, where he worked as a Sales and Relationship Manager within Corporate Trust and Loan Agency. He has experience of conventional debt issues as well as the structured credit sector.

In their new roles at BNP Paribas Securities Services, Pashley and Hames will be allocated sales territories by geographical region and will have responsibility for covering investment banks and broker-dealers, who require corporate trust products.

“We are excited that Alex and Ian have decided to join our Corporate Trust team and they have made their choices because of the considerable potential for BNP Paribas in this area of business,” says Philippe Van Looy, Head of Global Corporate Trust -Debt Products at the French bank.

Gary Webb says he foresees “significant” demand in 2005 from issuers and intermediaries in the CDO, ABS & MBS markets.
