BNP Paribas Securities Services has hired Corinne Vitte and Dario Rigert to lead its institutional investor sales team in Zurich.
Vitte joins as head of sales for institutional investors and will report to Garrick Smith, the head of BNP Paribas’s custodian business in Switzerland. Meanwhile Rigert is appointed as sales manager for institutional investors.
Vitte was previously a relationship manager at RBC Investor & Treasury Services, and had also held various senior positions at Citi. Rigert joins from J.P. Morgan Investor Services where he worked as a relationship and client sales manager for institutional clients.
“2015 will be a crucial year for us and for the asset management industry in Switzerland, as we implement a wave of new regulation, such as EMIR. We have ambitious plans to grow our business and serve the local market in the year ahead,” says Smith.
Early this year, BNP Paribas Securities Services announced the expansion of its service offering in Switzerland with the launch of a depository bank based in Zurich.
