BNP Paribas Securities Services has appointed Julien Cuminet as head of Asset and Fund Services (AFS) in France.

He replaces Jean Devambez, who is now head of Global AFS Products.

Prior to joining BNP Paribas Securities Services in 2008 as deputy head of AFS Operations, Cuminet was a partner at Orga Consultants, a consulting firm specializing in banking strategy, management and organization.

In his new role, he will be leading a team of nearly 800 people, and will be responsible for custodian and depository services, transfer agent activities, fund administration and accounting, and BNP Paribas’ middle office service for the French market.

Cuminet will also ensure the coordination between the custodian’s reporting and dealing service teams.

He will report to Jean-Marc Pasquet, head of France and Belgium, and Philippe Ricard, head of Asset and Fund Services.
