BNP Paribas Securities Services has made three senior appointments in its assets, fund services and global custody teams in London.

The French bank hired Blair McPherson as regional head of global custody product, while Paul Cocklin joins as product manager for global custody and Mark Schoen will act as head of asset owner’s solutions for pensions, insurance and sovereign wealth funds.

McPherson joins from RBC Investor Services after serving 11 years in a variety of roles include head of innovation and head of portfolio solutions and technical sales. At BNP Paribas Securities Sales, he will focus on the development of global custody products for the U.K. market.

Cocklin previously held a similar role at J.P. Morgan and Northern Trust, as did Schoen where he was head of product development for EMEA at Northern Trust.

Last week, BNP Paribas announced it will restructure its investment banking division, in which its Securities Services business will now come under the newly formed Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) unit, effective January 5, 2015.
