BNP Paribas Securities Services head of the Americas, Claudine Gallagher, has joined the board of directors for US clearing and post-trade infrastructure DTCC.

Gallagher has led the Americas business for the French custodian since 2012, having spearheaded the launch of its mutual fund administration business earlier this year.

She joins other global custodians and securities services providers on the board of directors, which include representatives from BNY Mellon, Citi, and State Street.

Also joining Gallagher on the board if Virtu Financial’s chief financial officer Joseph Molluso.

“We are pleased to welcome Claudine and Joseph to the DTCC Board of Directors. They bring decades of valuable experience and leadership to the Board as well as unique perspectives on the challenges facing the industry today and how DTCC can continue to broaden its capabilities to support our clients,” said Robert Druskin, non-executive chairman, DTCC.
