BNP Paribas Securities Services has appointed Renate Hartmann to sell global custody services from Frankfurt.

Hartmann joined BNP Paribas at the beginning of this year as a sales manager for institutional investors, focusing on pension funds and insurance companies in Germany. She will report to Angela Summonte, who is a sales manager.

BNP Paribas says her appointment “reinforces the strength of the already successful depot bank, by continuing to build up its activity as global custodian for pension funds and insurance companies in Germany.”

Hartmann joins from Deutsche Bank where she worked for six years.

“Renate’s new appointment stresses BNP Paribas Securities Services’ strong commitment and on-going expansion plans within the German market,” says Biermann.
