BNP Paribas has appointed Joachim von Rheinbaben as the newly created role of head of real estate corporate finance in Germany,

Having started at the bank on 1 January 2008, Von Rheinbaben joins from Bankhaus Metzler and brings over nine years knowledge of mergers and acquisitions and the German real estate industry.

He reports to Berthold Mller, head of corporate finance Germany and Charles Saiag, head of corporate finance real estate and financial institutions sectors (based in Paris).

Christine Dillinger also joined BNP Paribas at the beginning of 2008. She previously worked for the bank from 1998 to 2003. As head of privalto sales she is now responsible for the sales and distribution of certificates in Germany and Austria.

Dillinger joins from the Swiss private bank Vontobel, where she worked as head of advisory & distribution financial products Germany & Austria.

“For the announced extension of our business in Germany it’s important to keep on strengthening our teams with acknowledged experts,” says Joachim von Schorlemer, head of territory, BNP Paribas Germany.
