BNP Paribas Asset Management, which already manages US$15 billion in alternative investment strategies, is stepping up its involvement by launching three new hedge funds: the Dublin-domiciled SingleHedge Market Neutral fund, and two French funds, the SingleHedge Global Macro fund, and the SingleHedge Trend Fund. The three funds are all managed from Paris, and aim to deliver 10-15 per cent annual returns with a 5-10 per cent volatility. They have been designed to fit the needs of European based qualified investors, especially French investors investing through onshore funds.
