We’ve been busy this week shooting our next documentary, which will focus on bankers here at Sibos and their take on the current state of the business. Societe Generale Securities Services, Standard Chartered, Intesa San Paolo, Bradesco, Citi, Standard Bank, the National Bank of Greece and TCS consultants are all taking part.
Topics include settlement capacity, network manager concerns, adoption of international standards in local markets, T2S and trading platforms. Moving on to current credit crisis concerns, we asked: Where should bankers compete, and where should they collaborate? What can we expect from regulators? Where in the world are the best investment opportunities today? What is the industry doing about new products such as OTC derivatives that were at the heart of the credit crisis? Collateralized lending: good for business, or bad?
