BISYS has launched ERISAEDGE, a series of interactive, Web-based conferences concerning relevant legislative and regulatory topics for the retirement industry.
ERISAEDGE provides attendees with important rule changes, topical information and updates. Hosted by BISYS’ ERISA professionals, the sessions provide access to experienced specialists. The Web conferences also provide a forum for attendees to interact with their peers.
“Given the deep bench strength of our ERISA consulting group, it was logical and very timely for BISYS to develop our ERISAEDGE program,” said Bob Guillocheau, president of BISYS Retirement Services. “Our goal is to ensure that our retirement plan clients and intermediary constituents are as informed as they possibly can be, particularly in light of the rapid changes inherent in this environment.”
A full calendar of topical sessions is planned, beginning in early July and throughout the coming year. July’s Web conferences feature important information regarding mandatory rollovers and Roth 401(k) plans. Subsequent sessions will cover such topics as Safe Harbor plans, cross testing, SMART plans and auto-enrollment, managed accounts, new 401(k) regulations and various operational focus topics, including expediting amendment requests and conducting plan audits. Each session, including the presentation and question/answer portions, will be recorded and hosted on the company’s Web site.
