The commercial insurance arm of BISYS launched an insurance program meant to insure businesses transporting their own non-hazardous durable and non-durable goods to other suppliers or retailers.
The coverage includes property, general liability, auto liability and physical damage, and cargo and crime. The product will also cover businesses engaged in the wholesale distribution of non-hazardous, miscellaneous durable and non-durable goods, commodity goods, including furniture, raw materials, beer, wine, and distilled alcoholic beverages.
“We recognize that wholesalers and distributors represent a growing business segment,” said David Tooley, president of BISYS specialty programs. “We have introduced a program that addresses their specific insurance needs and allows us to work with their insurance agent to help them qualify for the best possible premiums and positively impact their bottom line.”
