BISYS Investment Services, a leading global financial services provider, today announced a key expansion of its senior management designed to position the company for continued growth in the European market.
Simon Shapland joins as Senior Vice President, Sales – Europe. Simon joins from ABN Amro Mellon where he spent eight years as head of sales and marketing for Europe.
Stewart Copland is appointed Vice President, Head of Client Relations-Europe. Stewart was head of new business at Mellon Europe for the company’s fund administration business. Prior to that, he spent a decade in senior posts in the investment management consulting sector of KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Simon and Stewart report to Tony Johnson, Executive Vice President – Europe who joined the organisation in February from Royal Trust where he was Managing Director, Sales & Relationship Management for 5 years.
Lavinia Midwinter joins as Vice President, Head of Compliance-Europe from a senior compliance role with Merrill Lynch Investment Management.
Richard Hale recently joined BISYS in London as Vice President, Sales after spending three years at Royal Trust Corporation of Canada as director of business development for continental Europe.
Tony Johnson said the senior positions are intended to firmly establish the company as a next-generation global outsourcer within the European fund administration market and to build on BISYS Europe’s client base which has grown with a number of prestigious new mandates over the past 6 months. In Europe, BISYS currently services clients from Dublin, Luxembourg, Guernsey and London.
