BISYS announced today that it has established a strategic alliance with the UK-based professional education group, BPP Professional Education (BPP).
The alliance aims to expand BISYS’s training programmes to include the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification, by incorporating raining modules for Levels I, II, and III of the CFA examinations. The CFA designation is a global continuing education curriculum for financial services professionals at investment and brokerage firms, banks, and insurance companies.
BPP Professional Education is the largest professional training provider in Europe, with more than 20 training centers in the UK and Europe. It claims to produce results that are significantly higher than global pass rate averages, and to have the endorsement of UK professional bodies, such as the Law Society, the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and the Institute of Actuaries.
Through this alliance, BISYS has adopted BPP’s CFA training materials and resources, and has assumed responsibility for marketing, production, distribution, and fulfilment of these materials in the United States. The materials include various packages, incorporating study notes, computer- and Web-based question banks, key concept books, and online diagnostic exams. BISYS also will manage classroom-based CFA programs domestically.
