BISYS Commercial Insurance Services, a provider of workers’ compensation insurance application, has named Gerry Macchello as its Western regional manager and Richard Bowers as marketing director of its newly established Workers’ Compensation Services Western Region Headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
Macchello has served for the past 15 years as underwriting director for Applied Underwriters in Foster City, CA and as vice president of Underwriting for HIH Insurance in San Francisco.
Bowers has served as senior vice president of operations for Singlepoint Insurance Services of Lafayette, CA and senior vice president of the wholesale property and casualty division for Acordia of California Insurance Services in San Francisco.
“Gerry and Richard bring strong and complementary portfolios of experience and skills to BISYS Workers’ Compensation Services,” said Gary Uhlemeyer, senior vice president of the services group. “Our new location and management team in San Francisco will allow us to provide much needed expertise and solutions to the California workers’ compensation marketplace.
