William Hunt, former president and CEO of State Street Global Advisors and vice chairman of State Street Corporation, has joined the Multifonds board of directors.
Hunt spent a significant portion of his career at State Street, and much of that in the Asia Pacific region, beginning in 1994 until he resigned in 2008. In addition to his role as president and CEO of SSgA, he was a member of State Streets Asia-Pacific development board, the executive team responsible for strategic planning across the Asian region. Before State Street, he worked at Swiss Bank Corporation International and AIG Investment Corporation in Tokyo.
Multifonds says Hunts experience in the US and Asia is particularly relevant given the organizations ambitions in the two regions. The firm offers fund accounting, portfolio account and transfer agency platforms.
