Bear Stearns International Limited has hired publishing and advertising analyst Tim Nollen to its European equity research department in order to broaden coverage of European media.
Nollen joins the team from the department in New York. Before working for Bear Stearns he was in the newspaper and publishing industries as a writer and editor. He wrote guide books for various publishers: Penguin Group, Marshall Cavendish and Lonely Planet, and he was a writer and editor for The Prague Post.
“Tim’s expertise in the European advertising agencies has proven invaluable for clients – especially through the industry’s many twists and turns over the last year,” says Roger Hirst, director of European equity research. “Tim’s publishing experience combined with his years as a research analyst will also offer clients an equally valuable view of the publishing world.”
