Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) has promoted Partner Thomas E. Rick Berk to the new position of Global Client Service within the Investor Services & Markets Division.

This move recognizes the importance of client service in growing our business and the increasing complexity of delivering seamless service to our clients across multiple geographies, said Bill Tyree, Partner and Global Head of Investor Services & Markets. Rick’s background as a technologist, and as an executive with proven enterprise-wide management responsibility, speaks to the range of skills we believe are needed to deliver a measurably superior client experience. Client service excellence has always differentiated BBH from its peers and this appointment is designed to ensure that going forward. We are delighted to welcome Rick into this very important role.

Prior to this appointment, Berk has served as BBH’s chief information officer (CIO) and head of the firms Systems Division.

Christopher Remondi, managing director, will assume executive responsibility for the BBH Systems organization, reporting to Taylor Bodman. In his new position, Remondi will relocate to New Jersey.

Currently Remondi leads the firms Innovation and Product Services Division, including BBH’s Infomediary business, for which Remondi has had executive responsibility since 2007.
