Bath Building Society has joined forces with another Bath-based firm, City Financial Planning, to offer customers financial advice through a new company, Bath & City Financial.
Bath & City say they are offering “straightforward help in a complicated world”. Heading this business which launches in January 2008 is consultant Tim Baverstock. Bath & City Financial will be able to offer advice on a range of services including insurance, investments, mortgages, tax and trusts.
“We believe our business, in the end, will be more successful if we focus on meeting individual needs rather than pushing our products. That’s why we have decided to offer independent financial advice – because we believe that will offer the best possible service to our members and customers,” says Kevin Gray, deputy CEO, Bath Building Society.
