Barrington Partners has a research report into portfolio accounting systems.
The PA Report 2006 provides an overview of 33 licensable portfolio accounting systems serving the investment industry. Global in scope, the report includes systems originating in North America and Europe.
Barrington Partners says the PA report provides a 3-5 page overview of each licensable system that offers broad based portfolio accounting capabilities. The report uses a consistent format for each system, ensuring that the information covered is comparable across the various systems.
“The Report is not intended to be a substitute for an RFP or an in-depth research/due diligence effort,” says a spokesman for Barrington Partners. “However, it will assist firms in determining those systems to be considered for further evaluation.”
