Barclays Capital Japan have recruited a number of new staff to further improve its investment banking system.

Hideaki Sunaga will be joining the team as Managing Director and Co-Head of the Investment Banking Division in Japan. He will be in charge of Corporate Finance, Equity Finance and M&A.

Sunaga will also be joined by Takumi Tanaka, Rei Kyogoku and Masaya Kubota who were all previously at Lehman Brothers Japan. Tanaka will be in charge of the advisory business, private equity clients and coverage of portfolio companies whilst Kyogoku will deal with investment banking coverage of Japanese financial institutions and Kubota will be handling coverage of private equity and other clients.
