Barclays Capital has appointed Nick Nassuphis as a Managing Director effective 20 June 2005. Based in London, Nassuphis will report to Dixit A. Joshi, Head of Equity Derivatives.
Nassuphis joins Barclays Capital from Credit Suisse First Boston where he spent five years, most recently as Managing Director responsible for European exotic equity derivatives. Prior to CSFB he held positions at West LB and Bankers Trust in exotic FX options. He is a graduate of the University of Athens and in addition holds a Masters in Engineering from MIT.
Commenting on the appointment, Joshi said, “We are delighted that Nick has joined to spearhead an important growth area for Barclays Capital. He brings with him a wealth of experience and will deepen our capabilities. This continues the investment in the successful build out of our Equity Derivatives franchise geographically and across products.”
