Facing increasingly sophisticated phishing scams, Bank of New Zealand announced Thursday that it will implement Entrust IdentityGuard provide authentication capabilities.
The bank hopes to fend off phishing e-mails that attempt to replicate its Web site and gain access to sensitive information from customers, opening them to Trojan attacks, on-line tracking and key stroke loggers.
In the first three months of the platform’s implementation, more than 38,000 customers signed up for its NetGuard service.
