Bank of New York Mellon on Tuesday said Thomas “Todd” Gibbons will become its new chief financial officer, effective 1 July, as current CFO Bruce Van Saun departs “to pursue new leadership opportunities.”

Gibbons, who is the bank’s chief risk officer, will be replaced by Brian Rogan, who is currently the CEO of the bank’s issuer, treasury and broker-dealer services. Karen Peetz, chief of global corporate trust, will take over Rogan’s job.
