The Bank of New York has appointed Yvonne Franklin as client executive for consultant relations in Europe, based in London. Reporting to Benjie Fraser, managing director, European pension funds, this is a new role aimed at – as the bank puts it – “developing and deepening the Bank’s relationships with the consultant community in Europe for pension fund, custodial and investment services.” Franklin joins the Bank from State Street, where she has worked since 1997.

“Consultants play an increasingly important part in the business that we do with pension funds,” says Fraser. “As our business develops, and the services we offer our clients become more complex, it is important that they have an in-depth, practical knowledge of our services. In recognition of the key role of consultants in the region we now have a team dedicated to supporting their needs. Yvonne brings considerable knowledge and experience to the team and will be instrumental in growing our business in this area.”
