The Bank of New York says it has enhanced its web-based information delivery portal, INFORMCentral, which distributes accounting and performance reporting information to European pension fund clients.
The enhancements will allow clients to drill down from the summary level in the views, through a number of levels of detail, such as industry sectors, to the underlying securities data. Each level of drilldown is achieved through a single click on the appropriate data element, says Bank of New York.
“We continue to invest heavily in our client delivery platform and this latest release demonstrates the benefits of such investment,” says Robert Darmanin, executive vice president and head of European pensions and custody at the Bank of New York in London. “This further enhancement to our INFORMCentral platform is another step towards our continued goal of providing clients with ‘one click’ access to their key data requirements. These enhancements demonstrate our commitment to delivering a first class service to our clients and represents a further significant improvement in addressing their reporting needs and providing easy access to additional accounting information.”
Bank of New York says INFORMCentral is used by more than 43,000 users on behalf of 5,700 institutional and business clients. It offers information about accounting, asset servicing, cash management, trade finance, collateral management, compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, retirement services, risk/return analysis, and securities lending.
