The Bank of New York says it has completed the migration of 160,000 Standard Life investors on to its transfer agency platform. The bank was appointed by Standard Life Investments – which has outsourced most of its operational functions to Citigroup – in May 2005 as its provider for a range of mutual fund administration services. Switching the transfer agency is the final phase in the migration of the business. Administration of Standard Life Investments’ funds will be operated on an outsourced basis with The Bank of New York providing services to investors, advisors and distributors on behalf of Standard Life Investments.
