The Bank of Ireland announced that it has reshuffled its investment business structure Wednesday, adding three new managing directors to its lineup.
With a new structure that Bank of Ireland Asset Management says is designed to improve performance efficiency performance, better adapt to customer needs and further align their business with trends in the global investment industry, BIAM promoted Chris Johns, Paul Boyne and Sean Crowe to managing director positions.
Johns joins the BIAM as managing director of global research, from Collins Stewart, where he was an investment strategist. He will now oversee the bank’s global equity, fixed income and property research.
As managing director of global equities, Boyne will be responsible for managing of BIAM’s EUR30 billion global equity portfolio.
Crowe, in his new role as managing director of global fixed income and specialist products, will be responsible for expanding BIAM’s fixed income, credit and property businesses and will directly oversee the delivery of new products.
“The newly appointed management team has a wealth of experience and an excellent track record in each of their specialist fields,” says Mick Sweeney, chief executive of BIAM. “I believe that this is the best structure for our business to compete successfully in this rapidly changing industry and that this high caliber specialist team has the necessary drive and expertise to deliver real value to our customers.”
