Bank Austria Creditanstalt has added Yugoslavia to its east and central European agent banking network. Bank Austria/HVb Group first upgraded its representative office in Belgrade to a full subsidiary in October last year. The new branch – where custody services will be run by head of international markets Slavomir Bena and sales and relationship manager Branislav Radovanovic – will focus on corporate lending and retail banking as well as custody services. Its leadership will also play a full part in raising the local securities market infrastructure to international standards.
