Tech firm AxiomSL has launched a new solution to ease net capital reporting requirements for securities broker-dealers set out by the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (SEC).
Under the SEC’s Rule 15c3-1, every broker-dealer must maintain sufficient net capital at all times prior to, during and after purchasing or selling proprietary securities.
The new solution calculate haircuts in compliance with the SEC and allows broker-dealers to source, calculate, analyse and generate reports.
“Our platform consolidates workflow processes and controls, reducing internal cost but most importantly, it can be deployed quickly and seamlessly across the firm,” says Alex Tsigutkin, CEO, AxiomSL.
According to the firm, the platform allows standardized capital computations, which include netting and optimization of capital.
