Calastone, the cross-border transaction network for the mutual funds industry, has announced that AXA Investment Managers in the UK has signed an agreement to make its funds (which include the AXA Framlington fund range) available via the global Calastone transaction network.
This connectivity offers electronic STP throughout the transaction lifecycle, whatever the domicile or preferred messaging protocol, and visibility and control over their order flow and real time risk management.
Henderson, Invesco, and Old Mutual have all signed up to the Calastone network in recent months.
Calastone has also hired Daniel Llewellyn as Head of Market Standards.Llewellyn joins Calastone from his role as Product Manager at Euroclear SA/NV where he had specific responsibility for Euroclears initiative to dematerialise collective investments within the CREST system. From 2006 to 2008, Llewellyn was responsible for re-specifying and re-launching EMXCo Ltds client facing information and was instrumental in the re-launch of the EMXCo Ltds Standards Board. Prior to joining EMXCo, he held a number of positions in the Information Systems division at Brewin Dolphin Securities Ltd.
