Atlantic Fund Services has continued its recent geographical expansion by opening an office in London, making the U.K. the eighth market where Atlantic now operates.

The company says that the new office will focus on business development. “London is a city of decision makers and a true center for asset managers. We just have to be present here,” says Roman Lewszyk, CEO of Atlantic’s European business.

To head the London office, Atlantic has hired Julian Naylor, who has 25 years of experience in information technology and asset servicing. Prior to joining Atlantic, Naylor served as managing director of fund administration technology provider Confluence, and he has also held senior roles at BNY Mellon and DST.

Earlier this month, Atlantic opened a branch in Austria, and in addition the firm now operates in Poland (its original market), Luxembourg, the U.S., Czech Republic, Slovakia and Liechtenstein.
