The Cyprus Stock Exchange and the Athens Stock Exchange announced Monday that the two exchanges have made updates to the common trading platform implemented between them.
The updates include changes to the times in which trades will be shifted. Trades will be settled until 5:00 p.m. on T+1 at the latest. The window of opportunity for corrections will run from 4:00 to 4:15 p.m. on T+2. Re-shifting form the broker will be available until 1:30 p.m. on T+3.
The updates also include adjustments in how dividends are dispersed. Dividends will be sent to the mailing address of each shareholder, but if a shareholder wants dividends to be credited in a custodian or a member broker account, then he must file authorization paperwork prior to the dispersion of dividends.
“These updates will go a long way in helping ATHEX and the CSE maintain a truly workable common platform,” says a Eurobank EFG spokesman.
