Asset Control has expanded its global data coverage by adding Telekurs’ Valdordata Feed (VDF) content to Asset Control’s centralised reference and financial data management application.

VDF provides reference data, corporate actions information and price data on over 3 million financial instruments worldwide, with up to 10 years of historical information and up to 1500 data fields related to each instrument, all in a coded form.

Asset Control enables portfolio managers, traders, and risk and compliance teams to better support decision making by enriching and consolidating reference, valuation and corporate actions data employed throughout their organisations using one off-the-shelf application.

“For the automation of the processing chain in the field of securities transactions, VDF and a close co-operation with Asset Control are important prerequisites for successful data management in a workflow solution”, says Markus Benz, partner relations manager, Telekurs Financial.

“Telekurs VDF offers Asset Control clients an extraordinary depth of data. It helps financial institutions create a complete reference data management process that covers a vast range of instrument data needs, while providing users with enhanced, detailed data coverage on a global scale,” adds Phil Lynch, president and CEO, Asset Control.
