Asian Bamboo was quoted at 18.10 in its stock exchange debut. The issue price stood at 17, while the placement volume in shares totaled 5.586.700. The lead manager and designated sponsor is Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. KgaA, while the lead broker is Baader Wertpapierhandelsbank.

The company was allocated to the forest & paper products sector of the Prime Standard. According to information provided by the company itself, Asian Bamboo is a leading producer of bamboo which has focused on cultivating bamboo forests in China and selling organic bamboo shoots and bamboo trees for more than ten years.

Following the IPO of ZhongDe Waste Technology AG, Asian Bamboo is already the second Chinese company to go public on Deutsche Boerse’s Prime Standard this year. Additional Chinese companies have gone public on the Open Market in 2007: Gongyou Machines, Sino International Logistic Co. and UFC Holding.

Deutsche Boerse continues to organize capital market events and listing seminars in China in collaboration with its listing partners, and is expanding its listing partner network to include Chinese intermediaries and capital market participants.

The initial price of MeVis Medical Solutions AG was 55. The issue price was 55. The company was allocated to the Software sector of the Prime Standard, and to the Software IT industry group. The lead manager and designated sponsor of the issue was M.M. Warburg & Co., while Rolf Brauburger acted as the lead broker.
