Confidence in Global Crossing, the telecommunications company to which SWIFT out-sourced its network provision last year, took another dive today with news that Asia Global Crossing had postponed release of its 2001 earnings data another week to February 26.

Asia Global Crossing, a public company whose largest shareholders include Softbank and Microsoft as well as Global Crossing, sells telecommunications and IP services in the Asia Pacific region. Its long term goal is to build a pan-Asian network linking the major business centres of the region. Via Global Crossing Network, it already provides Asian customers with access to more than 200 cities worldwide. As part of its strategy to provide city-to-city services, Asia Global Crossing partners with leading companies in each country it connects to provide backhaul networks.
