Ascendant Capital Partners, a new fund of funds organization recently spun off from parent Turner Investment Corporation, has bought Financial Interactive’s FundRunner IRM & Fund Profiling Software for their Investor Relationship Management and fund research infrastructure.

“The increasing demands for timely, data-rich information by our sophisticated clientele has driven the need for a completely integrated centralized system for our investor communications and fund research,” says Stephanie Strid, Director of Administration for Ascendant. “FundRunner is the only option out there that fulfills all of our needs in one product that can scale right along with our company. We were looking to launch on the best technology and Financial Interactive offers a package that works perfectly for what we do.”

FundRunner says its technology is designed to bridge the gap between investment managers and their investors by centralizing and automating relationship management, fund analytics, compliance, communications, reporting, and marketing. In addition, fund of funds managers use FundRunner to organize and track all constituent fund data and due diligence information.

Financial Interactive has over 80 clients with a total of more than $125 billion of alternative investment assets under management. Clients include Elliott Associates, Omega Asset Management, and Bowman Capital.
