ArcSight, Inc., a provider of security and compliance management services, has forged a strategic partnership agreement with Alpha Data, a systems integrator and distributor of security applications in the United Arab Emirates.
The partnership will focus on delivering security, compliance and mobility services to enterprise customers across the UAE. The partnership is a reseller agreement that will provide Alpha Datas customers with the ArcSight product range, including ArcSight ESM, ArcSight Logger, ArcSight Threat Response Manager and ArcSight Network Configuration Manager.

As the market in the UAE matures, information management has become an important issue for organisations in the government and financial sectors. Alpha Data will now be able to provide an application to resolve customers requirements for network security and a fast response to both internal and external threats. The ESM application provides businesses of all sizes with a service that is able to simplify their existing security networks and maintain them efficiently and cost effectively.

The reseller agreement with Alpha Data targets, among others, financial and governmental markets and includes promotional activities such as security technology seminars and workshops to address security management and compliance topics. As part of the agreement with ArcSight, Alpha Data will provide a comprehensive after-sales service for the ArcSight applications for its customers.
