Apex Group has expanded its Throgmorton UK subsidiary to the US market through the roll out of a new suite of accounting and tax services.

The expansion comes a year after Apex acquired the Throgmorton UK business where it added 150 employees and over 350 clients to the group.

The opening of Throgmorton US in New York will enable Apex to deliver new tax and business support services to both new and existing clients, as it looks to continue to diversify its range of services in the US.

“This is an exciting addition to our US offering and a real value-add for our clients. We are now able to offer a true single-source solution locally to clients meaning they can access any service they might need from the Apex Group – now including payroll and employee benefits,” said Georges Archibald, head of Apex Americas.

“Expanding our business support services into the US through Throgmorton means we can now offer our clients something they have been asking for at a local level for quite some time which only enhances our local relationships further.”

Apex stated the launch of Throgmorton US would be the start of an “ongoing global expansion of the subsidiary brand”.

Over the past year, Apex has significantly grown its US presence through the takeover of 40-Act mutual fund administrator Atlantic Fund Services, and private equity fund administrator Broadscope Fund Services.
