B.I.S.S. Research, the business led by Gray Wright of City Compas that aims to benchmark services and systems, says another software vendor has agreed to enter the B.I.S.S. ‘MiFID’ benchmarking process. However, the name of the firm is not being disclosed.

“We are delighted that yet another vendor has had the confidence to submit their system to the B.I.S.S. benchmarking,” says Wright. “However, under our contractual arrangements with the vendor we can not announce their name until the process is completed.

The B.I.S.S. Benchmarking process for MiFID aims to cover market and reference data vendors and front and back office systems, as well as integration and web services as well as bespoke capabilities.

“Following the conclusion of the B.I.S.S. process a report will be issued and there will be an announcement of the vendors who have been awarded the B.I.S.S. accreditation,” says Wright. “We are currently in advanced discussions with a number of other vendors about entering the B.I.S.S. accreditation process.”
