Andrew Gordon has been appointed as head, Investor Services, Hong Kong & North Asia at RBC Investor & Treasury Services.

Gordon was most recently at BNY Mellon where he was an executive vice president and head of Alternative and Broker Dealer Services, Asia Pacific.

He will build on the success of Brent Reuter, formerly managing director, Hong Kong, who has been appointed head of Investor Services, US.

Based in Hong Kong, Gordon will report to David Travers, head of Investor Services – Asia Pacific, who commented: Hong Kong and northern Asia are key strategic markets for us in our goal of becoming a specialist provider of custody, treasury and payments services. Andrews longstanding experience in the industry together with his depth of experience and relationships in Asia will further strengthen our offering to institutional clients in the region.

Based in New York, Reuter will lead the team in promoting RBC Investor & Treasury Services capabilities in cross-border asset servicing and fund distribution to US-based asset managers as well as extending the existing relationships of institutional clients of RBC.
