KAS Bank has hired Andrew Caird as manager of new business development, institutional investors in London.
Caird, who was previously the managing director of TradeShare, will focus on developing new business products for UK institutional investors.
“With his appointment, KAS Bank emphasises that the UK institutional market is a key focus area for KAS Bank and one in which we strive for strong growth over the coming years,” says Laurens Vis, managing director of the KAS Bank UK Branch. “Just like all other European markets, the British market faces a growing set of rules by the European Commission to promote cross-border pension schemes and investment products. As a result British pension schemes and insurance companies have to think carefully about the allocation and risk management of their investments. In this field, KAS Bank already offers innovative European investment management services, which are also very suitable for the British market.”
