The American Stock Exchange(R)(Amex(R)announced that on 12 June 2008 it launched trading in eight newexchange traded funds (ETFs) by Rydex Investments (Rydex). These new products bring the total number of Amex-listed ETFs to 406.

“We are pleased to support Rydex as they continue to grow their family ofETFs and provide investors with new choices,” says Scott Ebner, senior vice president of the Amex ETF Marketplace.

“These eight new Rydex products offer investors inverse and leveraged inverse exposure to the energy, financial,health care and technology sectors, using some of the most widely followed sector indexes in the U.S,” says Ebner.

The new Rydex ETFs are:

Rydex 2x S&P Select Sector Energy ETF (Amex: REA) seeks investment results that match the performance of a specific benchmark, before fees and expenses, on a daily basis. The Fund’s current benchmark is 200% of the performance of the Energy Select Sector Index.

Rydex Inverse 2x S&P Select Sector Energy ETF (Amex: REC) seeks to provide investment results that match the performance of a specific benchmark, before fees and expenses, on a daily basis. The Fund’s current benchmark is 200% of the inverse (opposite) of the performance of the Energy Select Sector Index.

Rydex 2x S&P Select Sector Financial ETF (Amex: RFL) seeks to provide investment results that match the performance of a specific benchmark, before fees and expenses, on a daily basis. The Fund’s current benchmark is 200% of the performance of the Financial Select Sector Index.

Rydex Inverse 2x S&P Select Sector Financial ETF (Amex: RFN) seeks to provide investment results that match the performance of a specific benchmark, before fees and expenses, on a daily basis. The Fund’s current benchmark is 200% of the inverse (opposite) of the performance of the Financial Select Sector Index.

Rydex 2x S&P Select Sector Health Care ETF (Amex: RHM) seeks to provide investment results that match the performance of a specific benchmark, before fees and expenses, on a daily basis. The Fund’s current benchmark is 200% of the performance of the Health Care Select Sector Index.

Rydex Inverse 2x S&P Select Sector Health Care ETF (Amex: RHO) seeks to provide investment results that match the performance of a specific benchmark, before fees and expenses, on a daily basis. The Fund’s current benchmark is 200% of the inverse (opposite) of the performance of the Health Care Select Sector Index.

Rydex 2x S&P Select Sector Technology ETF (Amex: RTG) seeks to provide investment results that match the performance of a specific benchmark, before fees and expenses, on a daily basis. The Fund’s current benchmark is 200% ofthe performance of the Technology Select Sector Index.
